In the event of a racing protest, racing stewards will investigate the events surrounding the protest and either uphold or dismiss this protest. If the protest is dismissed, then there is no change to the original results. If the protest is upheld, the results of the race will change to reflect the outcome of the protest.

In the case of an upheld protest, Dabble offers Protest Payout for all Win, Place and Exotic bets.

Protest Payout ensures that Dabble customers are paid out on either the original result, or the amended result, based on the most favourable outcome for the customer. Note that this does not mean bets are paid out as a winner twice.

- Eligible for Single Bets and Dabble Div Exotics bets. Multi bets are not eligible.

- Final Field markets only.

- Customers who are excluded from Dabble promotions are ineligible for Protest Payout.

- The Maximum amount for Protest Payout is set at $5,000.00.

Please allow up to an hour for Protest Payout to be credited to all eligible bets.

If your bet was resulted as a winner and paid out based on interim results, but the race results were subsequently adjusted causing your bet to no longer be a winning bet, then the winnings will be reversed and removed from your account.

Your account balance will be adjusted within an hour to ensure your bet is paid as a winner under Protest Payout.

If your bet was resulted as a winner and paid out based on interim results, but the race results were subsequently adjusted causing your bet to no longer be a winning bet, then the payout will be reversed and removed from your account. If during that time you had already used those funds (e.g. bet placement, withdrawal), then your account may appear in negative when the payout is reversed.

Protest Payout will be credited within an hour to your account balance. This will then ensure your bet is paid as a winner under Protest Payout.
