At Dabble, you choose whether you hear from us about offers and promotions. You can update your marketing preferences at any time, and we make it easy to opt in or out across both email and SMS.
Choosing your preferences at signup
When you create your Dabble account, you decide whether to opt in to marketing communications. Marketing includes things like promotions, updates on special offers sent by email, push notification or SMS.
Your choice at signup is not permanent. You can change your mind and update your preferences whenever you like using the steps below.
How to opt out
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the links and details included in the messages we send you.
SMS: Text STOP to 0488885875.
Email: Select the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email.
Push Notifications: These are controlled at a device level through your phone settings, where you can turn Dabble notifications on or off. Our support team can also help action this for you if you would prefer a hand.
ℹ️ Alternatively, you can reach our Support Team at any time during business hours via email ([email protected]), live chat, or phone (1800 322 253). They will be happy to assist you with updating any of the above preferences.
How to turn off Push Notifications
There are two ways to turn off push notifications. You can do it through your device settings, or straight from a Dabble notification when it arrives.
Option 1: Straight from a Dabble notification
On iPhone (Swipe method)
On your lock screen or in your notifications, swipe left on the Dabble notification.
Tap Options.
Tap Turn Off.
If you only want a short break rather than turning notifications off completely, tap Mute for One Hour or Mute for Today instead.
On Android (Long Press Method)
Find the Dabble notification on your lock screen or swipe down from the top of your screen to see it.
Press and hold the Dabble notification.
Tap the settings or gear icon that appears.
Turn off notifications for Dabble.
Option 2: Through your device settings
Turning off push notifications on iPhone
Turning off push notifications on Android
Open Settings.
Tap Notifications, then App notifications.
Find and tap Dabble.
Turn off notifications.
How long it takes
Please allow up to 24 hours for your request to be processed if unsubscribing from SMS and email communications. Unsubscribing from Push notifications via your device is instant.
Messages you cannot opt out of
From time to time, Dabble may need to contact you for administration purposes. These messages are not considered to be marketing, which means you cannot unsubscribe from them.
This includes things like activity statements, which we are required to send as part of our regulatory obligations.
Marketing preferences are separate from your betting
Opting out of marketing only stops promotional messages. It does not limit, pause, or close your account, and it does not change anything about your betting.
If you are looking to take a break from betting or put limits in place, that is handled through our Safer Gambling tools rather than your marketing preferences.
You can set a deposit limit, take a break, or self-exclude through your account. You can also register with BetStop, the National Self-Exclusion Register, at betstop.gov.au.
